The company places a strong emphasis on "Leaders developing Leaders" in its leadership development programs, and has created its own Leadership Academy in which next level managers take a strong role in participating and assisting in the development of leadership skills at lower levels.
The PPI Network was invited to support the company's internal Learning and Development experts to design and deliver a program to increase the leadership competence for a large population of middle managers from throughout Europe from a variety of businesses and with a variety of leadership skills development backgrounds. Following an extensive process of consulting with the business leaders, the appropriate program structure was identified to respond to a series of critical needs. The program design also aimed to align with the needs of other regions in the World - North America, South America and Asia - in order to maintain global consistency. The outcome is a process covering two classroom modules which include elements of self-work, work with a learning partner, team leading, influencing and leading change with the aim of the participants achieving results through other people within the organisation. The program currently runs four or five sessions per year.
