Peter Lester is a Business Psychologist, Coach and Therapist, who has spent over 25 years working in the field. He designs and facilitates workshops on a range of topics, including Facilitation Skills, Leadership/Management skills and Communication and Interpersonal skills. He also works with groups and teams, facilitating workshops which cover topics ranging from: how to improve the team’s process, Talent Management, Coaching Skills or Stress Management, amongst others.
Peter has worked as a Business Psychologist/Facilitator since 1993. Among the industries and sectors he has been active in are the automotive industry, retailing, banking, insurance, F.M.C.G., public service, academia, I.T., telecommunications, mental health and N.G.O.’s. Most recently he has worked with CNP Partners on Leadership skills and Talent Management Development, as a Facilitator on a European project concerning Climate Change and with Credit Agricole Indosuez on their Negotiation and Communication Skills program.
He has led a number of Facilitation and Management Skills workshops for NGOs such as Plan International. These workshops were aimed at providing skills for individuals to facilitate workshops in anything from sponsorship processes to HIV-awareness in countries in Africa, Asia and South America. Peter is a Guided Imagery and Music Therapist (BMGIM) and a Somatic Experiencing Practioner (SE™) and works with private clients on their individual processes.
Peter’s approach to facilitation is very creative and he uses a wide range of tools and strategies to achieve his clients’ objectives which range from theatre exercises (Peter is a Director Of Theatre for Living - Augusto Boal), music, movement, voice to creative drawing.
Peter works primarily in English and Spanish. He also has conversational level in French and Portuguese.
